Expectation: Startups are disorganized and chaotic.
In reality, the environment at ACTILIB was dynamic and flexible, it was far from disorganized.
The team used collaborative tools like Notion and Google Drive to stay aligned and have an organized CRM, and weekly check-ins provided structure and clarity. The use of Calendly was really important to provide appointments with new partners. And between the team, we used to use Slack every day, to keep informed of each improvements. This showed me that even in a small team, clear processes can exist. My assumption about chaos was therefore partially invalidated, indeed startups can be agile yet organized.
On the other hand, some processes were still informal or undocumented. When team members were unavailable, knowledge transfer could be inconsistent. There was also a risk of changing priorities for tasks, especially when deciding which content to create first. For example, I had to quickly shift my daily work to focus on timely events like the music festival on June 21st, or campaigns for Mother's Day and Father's Day. which sometimes made it harder to plan long-term content or campaigns.
